yeah, ive got coursework on that 2.
basicly this is the pivital point in the play where everything begins to hapen...
at the party the chain of events begin that will lead to romeo's death (he has a vision of this just before capulets party)
it is the first time R + J meet. they talk in sonnets - this makes them look very in tune with each other from the start.
it is also when Tyblalt gets annoyed with romeo, this leads to mercutios' death.
the most important characters in this scene are:
Capulet(he is cheery and witty)
Tybalt (apears quite child like - wants a fight)
Romeo (smooth, in love at first sight, places Juliet on a pedistal)
Juliet (innocent - and playing hard to get, but clearly in love)
