1: Hamlet fears the undiscovered world. He isn't quite sure what it will be like after death since no one has come back to tell people what it is like. He fears that it might be worse after death than life.
2: Since it is an "undiscovered world", as Hamlet puts it, no one is sure what death brings. It may be worse after death than living it and bearing all the sufferings of the world.
