: : Can anybody please help me translate Hamlets To Be Or Not To BE speech into modern English, eamil me if you can
: Specifically on the "Not to be" part, what does that mean? what significance does it have to the whole play?
: : Thanks
what he is saying is shall i live or shall i kill myself. Hamlet is very dipressed and is questioning his life. He is asking if he should suffer through and get his revenge or if he should put himself out of his misery. Then he asks himself if its couragous to kill your self because you are entering the unknown.
