I am a wind instrument player who is performing the Gerald Finzi vocal setting of "A Young Man's Exhortation" in Japan the end of this month. It would be helpful for the audience to understand what they are about to hear. Is there a credible translation of this work in Japanese and if there is, where is it and how is it obtained? I would appreciate an answer at my personal e-mail which is porkynbeth@earthlink.net. Thank you very much. Gene Pokorny (Chicago Symphony)
