I often had the same thoughts about cloning- in essance your clone would be the same as you, but they can't be exactly the same if you are still living, unless they are a continuation of yourself insted of a duplicate. If they are a continuation then they would really have to be a part of your being so that kinda rules out that theory, without divine intervention. If they are a duplicate then they would be a compleatly engineered being- would they even have an identity then? Mankind's definition of an identity is basically to the effect that the
soul controls who you are, but a duplication of yourself can't possibilly share your soul, so they would have to have their own- or none therefore they have a different identity, or none at all. I would like to apologise to anyone who actually read this- I do tend to confuse... myself even.
