Whilst not understanding a world my famous namesake has written I did find his grave a fastinating spectacle in Edinburgh Old Catton Hill cemetary. Apparantley, when he died 6 of his friends gathered around his tomb for 7 nights, armed with pistols incase the devil came to take his body away. He didn't teach at the University has the Goveners there thought he had a pact with the devil.
Nice to see the statue to David has been ed upon the Royal Mile. Said "Good Morning" to him every morning whilst on a week's holiday there last year. With the the sites on the 'net about David, why is it PEOPLE STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SPELL HUME, WHY DO THEY INSIST PUTTING AN L IN THE MIDDLE. Even David's brother had the decency to at least spell his surname HOME. Thank you.
