Do you live in a box, made of lead, at the bottom of a very deep pit, in the middle of a very distant country where no one speaks and book shops only sell Harry Potter novels? No contemporary philosopher can take up anywhere near the amount of thinking time of Western academics that Derrida does. Look : in a book shop: you will find scores of beginners guides, introductions etc. Sorry: I don't want to seem offensive; that is definately not my intention, and Yes I would like (replying to the first suggestion) to discuss Derrida.
