I am embarking (!) on an attempt to write a paper,
with the above title, for our University Department.
A former member of the English group Solidarity, I
now want to spread Castoriadis's ideas in the
academic community. Searching for primary and secondary
sources, and fellow-travellers..(Not sure how I arrived
on this ship - feel as if I was press-ganged, but
it's probably just that I am totally new to the Web).
My central concern: do Castoriadis's ideas have a
genuinely revolutionary content, i.e. the radical
imaginary, or does this in practice simply support
reformism and pluralism??? Thanks for your time,
