: Hello Climbers & Trekkers, : (See expedition profile below introduction) : Is it a dream to think that the last of this worlds greatest adventures still remain before us? : Years after the Native American journeyed from Asia across the great northern fields of ice facing a great unknown. O:nen my friends I hope they are not just dreams. : Years after Christopher Columbus set foot on the shores of a new world having "arc"ed a once flat world by never having sailed over its cascading edge. : Years after Michael Collins had daringly piloted his ship and crew to the edge of our sister moon then glided in a peaceful serenity above it while the eagle had landed? : Is it a modern day truth that the greatest of challenges are played out on the flickering light of prime time TV's so-called reality shows? : Or maybe caught up in the pages of a reality spun like a web in all directions by a press swinging to the left and the right in the name of ratings, Benjamin's and dead presidents. : Could we be captivated in a universe of big words drawing us deeper and deeper into fantasy and adventure, with mystery and amazement pulling us from this life into a far more interesting one of fiction? : This is not my world. : This world; all it's sweetness and complexity, it's scarred perfection, and it's daily renaissance intrigues me more -- seeing it with my own eyes, feeling it with my own hands, and standing atop of it having driven myself to the heights it reveals only to those who sacrifice their time and sweat drenched efforts to look back down upon it. : For those of "you" who have been in your own arenas -- athletics, business, scientific, personal, emotional, with faith or struggling with health -- facing the ultimate opponent "yourself." : Rising to challenges you've created for yourself or the luck of the draw has imposed upon you, beating your own fears, doubts, and rising to create positive changes for yourself and those around you. : You were never up above it; you were always down in it, and that's exactly how you like it. The push, the challenge, the goal moves you across the miles from place to place, through your 12 hour work days, and to these fields of dreams. : The Regulars who would, if you will, stand up and defy the odds and nay sayers, driven on by a sense of self purpose and thick skinned individualism. : This is still a world for you. : Remember when you were young, small and anything was possible? : Shhhh.......the secret is -- it still is. : And I have an epic for you. : We've been building steam researching this climbing / trekking expedition for almost 3 years. It's time to put this team together and put this show on the road. : I'm looking for a handful of "Regulars" for the challenge of a life time. : Key is "challenge." : In as far as we can tell this Peak has not been summit'ed in over 70 years, and is now (considered) impossible to reach. In other words, there is not a single person on the face of this earth today who has touched his or her foot to the ocean then climbed to stand upon this peak. : "Impossible to reach" -- that's funny. : Confidence, planning, drive, determination and teamwork will fuel this expedition. : This is will not be a cake walk. : The expedition profile involves: : No Snow - this expedition is unique - in the tropics : Kayaking on the open sea : Beach landing : Climbing thousands of vertical feet -- literally starting at sea level : River Crossing : Trekking through jungle : Making the Summit : And back again : It was done in a far more simple time, with less technology, and unsophisticated equipment. : If you believe it can be done again.......it soon will be. : We are looking for 5 additional team mates. : Ladies and gentlemen, if you believe you are up to this challenge contact me with a resume including trekking / climbing / expedition experience.
