I have been researching a cave lately, only to to find out that it sits on the edge of the Federal Forest Service property. I have been mapping this cave for the past four years by permission of the gentleman who thought he owned the property.
Now I learned that this particular cave is off limits to the public because they feel that this cave( at least the water) leads into a National cave, which is a tourist trap.
What do I do? Do I stop mapping the cave? Right now I am at a point in the cave where it drops at least 100 yards but seems to continue.
Any good suggestions?
