Hello everyone,
This site I am inviting you to is tri-fold. Informational, a way to get fun and activities published to anyone interested. Promotional, a way of researching equipment and supplies for feedback to our audience. Powerful, a way to use the power of numbers, or members to persuade government factions to open what needs opened, protect what needs protected, close what needs closed, maintain what needs maintained. But, even more, to recognize we are out here. The doers of the world. Whether you hike, backpack, horseback ride, mountain bike, SCUBA dive, ATV, PWC, rail-buggy mountain climb or hang-glide, there ought to be a place to do it. We just need to organize and use our power of numbers to speak up and be heard.
HAWK's, acronym for High Adventure WeeKenders, or nick named as a noun, HAWKs are perhaps the single largest group in the world. That's a pretty powerful tool.

Please be patient while allowing it to load. There are lots of flash and Java scripts happening. It makes for an entertaining site once loaded, but until you've opened it a time or so to include it in your cache memory, it loads a little slow. It's well worth the wait. Thanks.
