I am trying to remember, and find, a piece that contains lines about the degree of love; and
describes various extremes and examples of great things, long journeys etc to finally say that over all those things is the love held for another.
"more than a father lost,
more than a child finds,
...
over all these things I have loved you"
I seem to remember it as only being some 20 lines long, but may have been part of a longer piece.
regards jason
