Dear Sirs:
I am a homoual male that is fully and completely comfortable with what
and who I am! I am not ashamed of what I am, and I most certainly am not a
"defect" of nature.
Now that that has been said, let me express my absolute shock and
thorough disgust to find out that CBS is adding The "Dr." Laura Show to
their lineup in September. We have enough bigotry, hatred, and racism in
this country as it is. We need to stop such ways of thinking, not justify
them! We do not need some quack, so-called "doctor" setting the stage for
more "hate" crimes against people just because they were born different from
what is considered the general populace!
Why would you stand behind such a disgusting person? How could you allow
your Network to be aligned with such medieval ways of thinking? It makes me
sick to my stomach to here that such a large and well established Network
would tolerate such disgusting and discriminatory views from someone on
their airwaves! We need companies that are going to act like "Leaders" in
our society; not ones that are going to give their support to hatred,
misinformation, and "Hitlerism" !!!
Hitler taught that the Jewish People were abominations! Look how he
spread his hatred and racism! The Ku Klux Klan teaches that black people are
not equal to white people! Look how they spread their hatred and racism!
Would you align yourself with someone that teaches that very same
mentality? And don't kid yourselves about that point; it is the same
mentality, just a different type of people to crucify! It is the same
mentality that nailed Jesus Christ to the cross 2000 years ago! And how far
have we come, I wonder?
I and people like me will not tolerate the support that you are showing to
a bigoted, hate-filled, gay-basher! No matter how well she pretends to be an
upstanding, qualified person, "Doctor Laura" is nothing more than the fuel
that feeds the fires of hatred, bigotry, and racism!!! Do you really believe
that God stands behind such an evil-filled person as "Dr." Laura? I think
not. If you change the word "black" for the words "gay" or "homoual" in
everything "Dr." Laura says, then you will see the evil spewing from her
mouth; you will see the truth: same Devil, different time-frame! The Jews;
the Blacks; and now the Gays!
Because of the support you are giving to such hatred, I will no longer
look upon your Network as an upstanding business in the industry; your
support of this Quack, "Dr." Laura, will ensure that I, for one, will
boycott your airwaves and anything affiliated with your Network! It will
also ensure that I will speak my opinion of CBS and "Dr." Laura aloud to as
many people as will listen!
With deepest regrets, I await the day your Network reconsiders it's decision
to air the "Dr." Laura Show,
