I remember the way it used to be
Just you and me holding each other closely
I remember my head lying on your chest
I tell myself those times where the best
I remember the soft sounds of your beating heart
And why you said it would be best to part
I remember asking you to love me in the past
And why your love for me didn't last
I remember when we became one for the first time
And the thought of you loving me was a crime
I remember you saying it would never work out
Although that's what love is all about
I remember you said I was all wrong for you
But maybe being with the wrong person is the right thing to do
I remember its hard loving someone who doesn't love me
Why can't you just open your eyes and see....... Me
