To whoever would be willing to help me out:
Hi my name is Jenna Davis and I go to Ursuline Academy. I am doing a large project on Henry James and need your help!! As part of the project, I have to ask a few questions about Henry James to someone who knows him pretty well. If there is anyone who can answer some or all of these questions I would GREATLY appreciate it! Thanks for your time!!
1. What is your favorite book by James and why?
2. What books of his would you recommend to read?
3. Do you have any interesting stories about his life that you know?
4. How did other authors of the time see James?
5. In The Portrait of a Lady, do you think it was selfish of Ralph to give some of his inheritance to Isabel?
6. In Turn of the Screw, do you think the children were evil, or the governess?
7. In Daisy Miller do you feel that Daisy is really all that innocent, or do you feel she knows the things shedoes are wrong?
8. What are some of James' writing techniques?
9. How did James' readers see him?
10. What plays, if any, would you recommend reading by James and why?
11. How did James' life relate to his writing?
