I'm looking for some scholarly help ! I have the program for a benefit performance given for the Titanic diaster fund on 14th May 1912. It includes poems and prose by many greats, including an interesting poem by GK Chesterton, titled "A Ballade of Theatricals". I can find no reference to it on the net. Is this possibly its first (only ?) appearance. It includes chilling lines which could well be an oblique reference to the sinking of the Titanic. Does anyone know more ?
