Dear Sir or Madam:
I am trying to locate the name of the G K Chesterton work in which a character states (this is a paraphrase):
I stood at the foothills of life and I asked God to take away my Pain. But, God said if I take away your pain I must take away --etc.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
