I copied this out of an episode guide oof buffy hope it helps
The Tale: Sunnydale is terrorized by pale, bald, mute, grinning monsters called The Gentlemen, who "steal" the voices of the entire town, then set about trying to aculate seven human hearts from their silenced victims. The only thing that can kill them is the sound of a human scream — which Buffy emits after she and Riley smash the monsters' voice-storage box. In the process, they finally discover that they're on the same side of the law.
Our Eulogy: A tour de force, as this series continues to raise the bar. Having the cast spend half of the hour in silence (accompanied only by a magnificent score) sounds like a gimmick, but instead, it creates an eerily effective environment for the creepiest monsters ever witnessed on Buffy. We could easily have lent a shriek or two, if only they'd asked. And a few chuckles, too, thanks to the gang's attempts at non-verbal communication, which add to the giddily nervous nature of this episode.
Haunting Dialogue: Buffy dreams of a little girl singing "Can't even shout, can't even cry / The Gentlemen are coming by / Looking in windows, knocking on doors / They need to take seven and they might take yours / Can't call to mom, can't say a word / You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard."
