: I would like to congratulate ERB's grandson and all concerned with perpetuating their Founder's legacy as,like myself,millions of readers all over the world were held in thrall by the wonderful imagination of ERB. In my early teens when Mars was visible in the night sky I would lie outdoors and imagine I was JOHN CARTER sleeping in a remote cave,prior to being transported to Mars on some urgent mission!Likewise after reading TANAR of Pellucidar it was enthralling to imagine a similar scenario and location might actually exist,hidden deep in the Jungles of the Amazon Forest,with mythical prehistoric creatures as in Conan Doyle's "Lost World"! : Checking over your website I note that I do not have and have not read nos.5,6 and 7 in the Pellucidar series. My question is,do "Back to the Stone Age" and "Land of Terror" are also based in Pellucidar" or are they entirely separate novels not a continuation of Books 2,3,4 and 7 ? I would be grateful to have this information. In my sixties I intend to have the whole series and read them through! : Another question : If ERB wrote JOHN CARTER of MARS before 1950 why was publication delayed till 1964,14 years after he ped away?? : Another question... did ERB conclude the MARS Series with the above and was THE WIZARD OF VENUS also the last in the Venus Series and SAVAGE PELLUCIDAR the last Book he intended to publish in the Pellucidar Series. In other words does anyone know whether ERB had any plans to write further books as a continuation of the Mars,Venus and Pellucidar Series. This is a question of paramount importance to lovers of ERB's incomparable works. : I have relations in Ventura Blvd.Tarzana and hopefully I may one day have the privilege of visiting your Establishment if this is possible. : I look forward to your reply and thank you in anticipation.
