Robert E. Lee was a good man because he thought slavery was evil because it had an evil effect on slaves and masters as well. Robert E. Lee thought hard about changing to the Union but he found he could not because he would then be going against his home, family, and relatives.
I am related to Robert E. Lee and want everyone to learn about this brave, goodhearted, man.
