In Reply to: quick poll: the most fun board you ever owned.... posted by Wind Whiner on July 01, 192001 at 16:03:04:
I doubt I'll ever be happier with windsurfing than when I first got fully planing and in the footstraps in July of '87. The Fanatic Cat I owned at the time was not exactly a great board, however. I don't know that I have owned a *favorite* board, as I tend to over-yze the pros and cons of each. I enjoy my current boards (Allstar 70 and Electron) more than any others I've owned, but I could also come up with a list of their faults. I think my favorite board to date is not one I've owned: a '96 or '97 Seatrend 8'9". Kind of like a slashier, better jibing Electron.
