Jeff and I arrived today just before 11am.
Riggged in some light rain with overcast skies.
Kind of cool and wind mostly north.
As we headed out Bob and Dana arrived.
Me: 6.5/282 Jeff: 5.6/Energy.
We crossed to the flats, turned around and came back
to rig down.
Me: 5.5/ScoreV85 Jeff: 4.6/Energy.
Sailed this most of the afternoon wound up!
Jeff took out my electron mid afternoon for a while.
Got overpowered around 4pm (it was still building) and
went backout on Jeff's 4.6 and the Score to find out
that it was still too much sail. Bob was on his Edge with a 4.5. Made a few runs and called it a day.
Dana got in a little bit of trouble late with a 4.0
but we all got off the water.
The rain let off mid afternoon.
I was in my 4/3 steamer and very comfortable, while
sailing. It was cold standing around.
I was surprised we were the only ones there.
Love that place!
came back in for the day.
