OK, Charlie B. and I are going to test his herniated disk and my lumbosacral strain (you'd think we're twice as old as we are!)at Harker's tomorrow. The forecast is decent but not great, which actually tipped the scales toward a coast trip since the sailing here tomorrow will likely . Weather and back permitting, I'll be at the lake on Sunday with the Seatrend AVS 70. Anyone want to compare their beloved conventional board with a wide-style in winds that, hopefully, will allow both boards to be powered up? We may get the chance on Sunday.

: Looks like it may be sailable on Sat. - current CMF is N-NW 20-25 knots, decreasing late. Anyone planning on sailing this weekend? If it's breezy here I'll probably test my back at Jordan, but I may be tempted to head for a better location (now that I have a prescription for some muscle relaxers and serious pain killers)if a bunch of people are going somewhere else.
