Charles,
It wouldn't have been worth it. The thunderstorms
arrived early and stayed late. There was a brief
period of 20-35+ at Jordan Lake (via the
Windtalker), but it only lasted about 45 minutes.
When the low pressure trough dissipates we
should get back to the reliable S/SW wind thanks
to the Bermuda high. Maybe next weekend!
