: : Could anyone tell me the approximate value of a first edition of "Gone With the Wind" in good condition? Thanks.
: Reply: Several factors determine its value. Does it have the origional bookcover, did the author sign the book, how good is the condition etc. A MS Patsy Wiggins at 770-210-1017 can be of help. She is a collector and seller and runs a museum called 'Road to Tara' in Jonesboro, GA. You might also be able to find her on the web ...I think it is under roadtotara@aol.com or something like that. From what I have read they run from $250 for a good condition book to $2,000 if signed. Hope this helps a little.
