I have two old books or bibles written in Norweigan that I would like identified. The big book is dated 1837 Madison Wis. Opening preface has alot I cant read but in big letters the words Dr.Martin Luther stand out. The second is a small book dated 1877 La Crosse Wis. On the inside cover is the owners name and its dated 1878 Estherville Iowa. Plus in the small book there is a translation of the lords prayer in english. Its my understanding these books have always been in our family. My mothers maiden name is Brateger.
If any one knows the Norweigan language I would be glad to Email the opening page of the books for identification. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Pat Long
