: : I own two collections of the Harvard Clics. I found the first collection in a barn on our property. I believe it is the 1934? Deluxe series. It is a 24 volume set. After reading the entire series, I came across the full 1909/10 series. It was a 50 volume set for $50. At a dollar a volume I knew I couldn't go wrong. I promptly gave the 1934 set to my sister in hopes that she would find them as thrilling as I. I would never consider selling either series, as I find the works they contain have grown dear to my heart, but I am interested in knowing the monatary value of these books (the intellectual value is priceless!!). Thanks, Rick
: Rick: My wife found a complete set of the 1909-1910 P.F. Colier "Five Foot Shelf of Books" at a community book sale 25 years ago. She paid paid $15 for the whole set. We are wondering if there was an earlier publication date or if this the original publication. There is no other publication date in the books other than 1909 or 1910. We would like to know what they are worth as well. In any case they are priceless to us. If you learn anything let me know.
Rick,
I too am interested in the monetary worth of the collection of the 50. My mother ped this on to the family estate which needs to be divided up between the siblings. I would like to purchase their share so I can keep the set for myself.
Thank you,
Dave
