: I had received a book from a relative of mine and i,d like some information on it (if anyone can help me) The name of the book is Friendship's Offerings,it was published in NY by Leavitt & Allen, 27 Dey St, NYC : in 1855. John F.Trow, Printer & Stereotyper, 49 Ann St., NYC. The front cover bears a large countersunk iris in mother-of-pearl inlaid in black morocco gilt. : There are 12 full page plates. If you know anything about this book i'd like hearing from you.......
