Try conecting the poem with the vally of ashes. Like in stanza II "Eyes I dare not meet in dreams/ In death's dream kingdom/ These do not appear: There, the eyes are/ Sunlight on a broken column" You could connedt this to the Eckleburg eyes, Gatsbys death, Wilson before the murder, Murtyle getting slammed by the car. Anything. The Poems about WWI vets, but the ideat of hollow dreams and lost hope and faith can be taken throughout the book. I'd personly recomend the Eckleburg eyes and judgement of the characters, but you can do so much more than that. Just run with it. E-mail me if you've got any questions.
