: ABOUT THE COMPANY
: Dead End Street Publications, LLC, is a
multimedia publishing firm founded in 1997. Based
upon the fundamental precept that more speech is
preferable to less, the company is a forum for
literary works considered outside the mainstream.
In this respect, we welcome literary submissions
of all types and genres. Each submission will
receive conscientious consideration.
: The company ultimately seeks to publish
"edutainment" (i.e., literary works that are both
educational and entertaining). In this endeavor,
we will likely publish works offensive to certain
people. And while we do not seek to offend any
particular person or group of people, the company
will not act as a censor. We neither accept nor
reject any work because of its controversial or
unpopular nature. Rather, we publish works we
find to be well written and for which we believe
an audience exists.
Hi..My name is Jill, and I am a writer. I do fictional poems and short stories, mainly for young adults, but I can write for any age group. I don't have any formal training, nor have I ever been published, but this is becuase I haven't really tried before. I am also an artist. I haven't any artwork on the internet yet, but I will be posting it soon. My boyfrined, Tony, is an artist as well. He does mainly cartoon/caricatures. He has had no formal training either, but both of us are willing to work to our full potential. We both want to use our talents to help others, to use as an outlet, and to earn capital. Thanks!
