: : I am writing a thesis for my AP western Civ cl on The Prince. I want to show how rulers that did what Machiavelli said they did were successful and those who did not weren't. If anyone has advice on political leaders from any time period or sources where I can find solid information please email me. I was thinking of Alexander the Great but all the things Ive read only discuss his military conquest and not the actual ruling of provinces.
