Hey. I have some thoughts on this already. They are all out of order because I was brainstorming. Please take a look at it, and tell me your thoughts. If anything is wrong, please tell. If you have anything to add, please add it. Also, if you can answer any questions that I wrote, please do.
take a look
"* know the history of successful comander - gore is following the footsteps of a successful Bill Clinton
* avoid the reputation of a vice - Al Gore, not content w/ vice president, ran for president
* must not display generosity - Al Gore has little room to be generous because he is a democrat (equal to all - poor x rich)
* must appear merciful, integrity, religeous; but do anything to hold power - kind of the way a democrat thinks
* avoid apearing changeable, coward, frivolous (unworthy of serious atention), irresolute - Al Gore has all these characteristics, but doesn't mean he is machiavellian.
* stisfy the people and not be hated to avoid overthrow - a democrat (all politicians) satisfy all cles (rich poor, colored white, foreign domestic) in order to be elected.
- How a Prince must be.
- Characteristics of a ruler/leader.
- Know how to maintain control and authority.
- Is Al Gore a true Machiavellian?
- Anyone can have thoughts like Machiavelli (power, likeness by the people, feared or
loved by the people, keeping his word, not hated and despised, avoid blame), but living
by his principles is a diferent story.
- People can have some machiavellian-like qualities and not be a machiavellian. True?
- What is the opposite of Machiavellian character?"
thanks
