In Chapter 18 of the Prince Machiavelli says a
"prince needs to know how to adopt the nature of
either animal or man, for one without the other does
not secure him permenance." What is Machiavelli mean
here? Does this fit in with the ideas of Plato and
Aristotle? I am very confused. Please Help
