ok i read travels with charley, and it was very entertaining but i need an interpretation of it (three pages in two days to be precise) and i am totally blank. What did steinbeck try to say with the novel, was there a deeper meaning than a poodle and an rv (i am screwed if there isn't) if anybody has any remote ideas please e mail me (soon-please) at cieblume@juno.com. thanks steinbeck buffs
