hi, i'm ruth deny from munich, germany, and i've just completed the translation of a great us-movie into german. it's called "a texas funeral". now i urgently need help by a steinbeck-expert, as i've got a quotation the origin of which i cannot locate: "... there are places in this world where fable, myth, preconception, love, longing or prejudice step in and so distort a cool, clear appraisal that a kind of high colored magical confusion takes permanent hold... surely texas is such a place.."
can anybody help?????????
