Eden:
Being at work at the time...I am forced to be breif.
The Bibles story of the life of some guy named Jesus is so far from proof there is a God that I can't believe you even bring it up.
You are starting from the premise that the Bible is more than a book of fiction...and I don't agree.
I want proof of God. I don't want old myths. My opinion of proof of a supernatural deity is for this deity to demonstrate something supernatural to me and others.
I wasn't there when Jesus walked on water...and neither were you. In fact, I would bet my life (and according to Christians I am) that NOBODY was there when this person walked on water. Why wasn't anybody there? Because nobody can walk on water and the whole concept is childish mythology (IMHO).
If you posted something and I didn't respond...that was an oversight of mine. I will look further down the board for any of your responses I may have missed.
I like the message board system developed by Infopop called, "Ultimate Bulletin Board," or UBB. When someone responds to a thread it is bumped to the very top. That was readers don't have to play Sherlock Holmes trying to figure out what they have read and haven't read.
Torc out.
