(TO MAITLAND): Shakespeare is trying to express the way he feels about the woman's beauty, which is so pretty that her beuaty last
so long it cannot be compared to a summer's day because summer is only about 3 months at the most. (That would be
like a girl who buys beauty products for three months and runs out and becomes ugly again) It wouldn't last. She is
that mesmerising to him. The sweet part comes at the end when he says that his love for her will always live on through
the "lines" these are the lines in the poem. So as long as the poem is read and known his love will be expressed. Such a
blessed man he was. No for you and your project I suggest that you get some refferences or something instead of waiting for
someone else to inspire you. How much time do you have anyway? You are wasting time if you ask me... Girl you better get to work.
