Shakespeare By The Sea Society:
Welcome to The Shakespeare By The Sea Society web page. We're currently hosting several interactive Shakespearean features, including Shakesp
eare's Sonnet
of The Day, our virtual Shakespearean
Sonnet Greetings cards, our Live Lighthouse Shakespeare Chat, and our Shakespeare Campfire Chat. And below, highlighted
in blue, you'll find links to bulletin boards devoted to some of Shakespeare's more famous plays.
We're based
in Kill Devil Hills, and each summer we stage productions and readings of Shakespeare upon the Outer Banks of North Carolina. SBSS also holds lighthouse poetry readings at the Hattera
s and Ocracoke light houses every monday night at 8 P.M.
The Shakespeare By The Sea Society is now currently looking for
Shakespearean scholars to moderate discussions concerning Shakespeare.
If you would be interested, please contact us at shakespeare@killdevilhill.com.
