Franken tried to take some cheap shots but Bill totally stood his ground and made an out of Al despite the liberal crowd of cowards clearly siding with Al. Having seen the exchange you comment on my fellow serviceman friedn, you appear to have the details reversed. Franken recounted how O'Reilly had lied and misrepresented his old program "Inside Edition," as a winner of not 1 but 2 Peabody awards (which is among the most prestigious in TV journalism). Inside Edition had never won such accolades, from Peabody or any other organization.
When O'Rielly was caught in his lies, he cried like a little girl!
Now you sir want to inflict, or encourage the infliction, of violence on the truth-beare, not the liar. Odd, when I served our country we fought for truth, justice and the American way. O'Reilly, the pathalogical liar, embraces none of these ideals. Neither sir, do you.
