Peter Danielson Found!!!!!

Author: Kamaran Brown (---.se.biz.rr.com) Date: 09-08-05 10:32 After extensive Google searches, I finally found the original Peter Danielson (Children of the Lion Book series). James Reasoner, a well published author, wrote the last book in the series. I just received an email from him, the content is as follows. Hi, Kamaran. It's good to hear from you. I don't get much feedback on the Children of the Lion series, and the one book I did was great fun to write. The original Peter Danielson was a writer named George Warren. He wrote #1 through #14. I don't know what else he wrote other than a few of the Nick Carter spy novels. #15 was by Franklin King, but evidently he didn't work out because Hugh Zachary took over the series with the next book and wrote #16, 17, and 18. I finished off the series with #19. As you know if you've read the books, my novel wrapped up the story arc started by Zachary in his entries. The Powers That Be were pleased enough with my book that there was some discussion about continuing the series. If we had, #20 would have marked a considerable chance in the direction of the series and would have moved farther back in time. The title probably would have been DAWN OF THE LION. However, in the end the publisher decided that sales on the series didn't warrant continuing, so #19 was the finale. Ever since then I've wanted to write some more Biblical novels but have never had the time because my writing schedule has stayed pretty full with other things. Maybe someday.
