Consider this line of thought, Aristophanes portrays Socrates as teaching his students in a way that students turn against their father and city. Which is the charge he is brought to trial on.
Plato portrays Socrates as important in that we keeps the polis on its toes, that is he is a gadfly.
Which do you think is most important piety or questioning or can the two be combined?
