Its a trick question. efficiency is the work output devided by the energyconsumed. If your looking at the work against say, air resistence against the car, then you'd first have to know what the force of the resistence is in order to answer the question. If you're looking at the change in kinetic energy of the car as a part of the work output then its another story alltogether.
: My physics teacher wants to know the efficiency of a car if it gets 35 miles to the gallon. Can anyone help me figure this out?
