: : : Raphael,

: : : I would really like to know the source for the quote that you left by Josephus concerning James and Peter. As far as I have found, Josephus did not mention Christianity nor Christians other than a ping reference to the crucifiction of Jesus. Could you tell me the exact page in the Histories from which that quote came? I would like to have it for my own reference.

: : Dear Mitch,

: : Nobody deleted any posts of yours -- though I did notice that when this board was replaced, the most recent posts (within a few hours of the switch) were not carried forward on the subject page.

: : As for the Josephus quote (concerning James, the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ), it is exactly as I printed here and referenced. Perhaps it is good for you to realize that you do not know everything, and to do a little searching of your own. If you seach in the right place, you will find the Truth.

: : Raphael

: Raphael,

: I left another post towards the top that was deleted by someone because the other one was quickly falling to the bottom. It is th second one that was gone.

: As to the Josephus quote, you left the secondary source not the primary, so I had nothing to go on from your post. I am not claiming that I know everything. I am saying, in fact, that if there is such a reference in Josephus, that I do not know nothing about it, and I have been scanning back through the Histories to find it to no avail. So, I am aking for the refernece so that I may know of it.

: So, I take it either the reference does not exist, or you are just being stubborn and the "know it all" that you are accussing me of. Either way, I don't think there is much more to say on this matter. I will just take you post concerning Josephus to be false.

: Thanks,

: Zeus

Dear Mitch,

Here's some of your own medicine: I don't believe you; either you produce proof of deleted posts, or I will just take your post concerning deleted posts to be false.

You didn't need to tell me that you "don't know everything"; you already have proven that many times before.

I am sorry that you so easily have given up your search for the Truth. He is worth every effort.

Raphael
