Cordelia,
I agree. What is even more frightening is fully
considering current events, and comparing them
to 1984. Consider these things: KKKlinton has the
power to evoke Executive Orders thus removing all
freedoms from American citizens (proles and party
alike), thus effectively byping congress and the
constitution, and making FEMA the official working
"government". If you get a chance, do some research
regarding these EO's. They clearly state that the
government has the right and will use it to: control
food and water supplies, all communications, all
forms of travel, all forms of commerce, all sources
of energy (e.g. electrical, gas, etc.), and basically
all forms of everything we need to survive.
By wording of the Executive Orders, he is justified
in doing this by "civil unrest" (protesting the
government), economic upheaval, war (even if it is
in another country), and basically any event he
deems necessary.
Now, consider two main events. First the looming
Y2K crisis. (Do some research - it will scare you)
Y2K will cause all embedded computer chips, and
most mainfraims and computer-dependent operations
to cease. This will be the trigger that KKKlinton
needs to effectively enact these EO's.
(Imagine a country without any form of communications,
reliable energy sources, mive social unrest,
inopperable banking systems - everything that we
use that relies on computer systems will fail. Throw
in a -style president and SS style "Intelligence
Community [cia, fbi, nsa, etc.), and you've got
1984 in 2000!!)
Now also note the President's foreign travels this
past year: Russia (He will be visiting in fall),
China, Africa.
Doesn't it all seem strikingly too close to the three
governing bodies and totalitarian nightmare in 1984?
It's difficult not to believe that we're all gonna
die. However the poets, the freedom fighters and,
most important, God will not allow this charade
to last once it happens. It's just too bad the proles
refuse to wake up. I guess they, along with the
party will be the ones who will die in numbers.
Have a happy day!!
