If you go to a library at a decent university there may be an essay or lecture published called "The Future of Higher Education" or "The Future of our Educational" something or other.
In the notes published in "The Will to Power" he writes about a classical education, "the Hard School"and self education.
I think his desire was that education be the approached as the task of making one "whole" as opposed to merely "learned".
