: Personal predestination taken to its logical conclusion supports the notion that God created some people to go to Heaven, and created other people for no other reason than to roast them eternally in Hell. Because I cannot believe that God created some (or most) people so He could roast them in Hell, I therefore cannot believe in “personal” predestination.
So, Because YOU can't believe, or except, something that was written, you change it to suit what you do believe. That is typical.
This is your subconscious formula,
First, throw everything you don't like into a pot.
Then, Throw everything else that you do like into the same pot.
Then, mix it until it looks like something you like and all the things you don't like disappear.
And, Wa..la. Made to taste. Can't go past home cooking. Beautiful!
If some God said "I made some crap, which I will throw away, and I made other crap that I will keep for myself", then if the crap doesn't like it, what can they do?? If it is supposed to be the God that said it, who can argue??? You can comfort yourself with what you think, for whatever reason you think it, but what it gets down to is, you don't like the God that you think you love. Nor do you want to.
Yours truly,
