:Calvinist think that this takes
: away God's soverignity but it does not.
first off, i am not a calvinist, i don't think (actually i am fairly ignorant of the calvinistic beliefs). and, as for god's sovereignty, there is a chance that someone could logically conclude that free will on our part necessarily takes power from god: just saying it is so may not convince another human being that predestination and free will can coexist.
: God can do anything that he wants.
we agree. so can people.
: But he is a loving God that does not force anyone to be a christian.
we agree.
: He want them to accept his salvattion.
sure god does; and there is no this for that in regards to god's love - everyone is saved.
: Calvinist worship a non-loving God
: that forces his following on a select few.
do calvinists agree with your view of the attributes of god, as they coneptualize god?
: God gave his son for everyon.
we agree.
