I think both you and your friend need to come to the realization that this man is neither open nor receptive to the concept of the Bible being the Word of God. And that even if it had a picture of aliens in the front cover, it would not change what he believes. There are references to angels coming down from Heaven and having with women, re Gen 6. Elijah called down fire from Heaven at the contest at Mt. Carmel re 1Kings18, and was later taken away in a whirlwind at the appearance of a “chariot of fire” re 2Kings2:11. Here’s the catch, if you try to present these events as possible alien actions, you could inadvertently cast God as an alien. The bigger picture is this; anyone who believes that the bible is a “joke,” and expects someone to prove the existence of aliens with it, is a person who is obviously not looking for the truth. Sorry.
