I have to lead a discussion about Sense and Sensibility in November, and I just don't get it. Why does Jane Austen inspire such loyalty among literary fans? Beyond the themes of money, marriage, and obeying societal dictates, what is there in Sense and Sensibility? Rich, subtly sardonic language, of course, but what else? Please enlighten!
