: Hello fellow Jane Austen fanatics,
: I've been studying Pride and Prejudice for about three years just because I absolutely adore this fine piece of literature but I wanted to ask you guys about something I'm having difficulty with.
: I understand that Elizabeth's prejudice was so strong that it blinded her and did not allow her to see the kind side of Darcy. Can you guys think of any other instances where a failure to use critical thinking caused a disaster? If so please email me with your opinion, thank you so much!!!

yes, When she accepted Wickham's version of his and Darcy's disagreement so completely. And it could be argue when she was so completely against Charlotte's and mr. Collins. And perhaps her refusal to see faults that lay in her father's behaviour toward his wife, Lydia, Kitty and Mary.
